German Artist Poses Nazi Garden Gnomes
Garden gnomes. They’re cute. They’re creepy. They’re all named David (I assume). But now they’ve taken on a new description. They’re fucking Nazis!
Apparently a guy in Germany has made 1,250 of them with their arms outstretched in the famous “Heil Hitler” pose, painted them black and gold, and posed them at a marketplace in some sort of art exhibit to show that fascist tendencies are still latent in society. Best part is, the German government has ruled that it’s satire, and so is allowable despite the general nationwide ban on displaying Nazi imagery. Still, the fact that such a ban exists, even if they make an exception for satire, does serve to prove the guy right. I’m not, of course, (seriously) condoning what the Nazis did, or the fact that some people (again, seriously) actually like and agree with it. But you have the right to display whatever you want on your own property, no matter how much of a cunt it makes you to do it.
With all that having been said, the guy never actually mentions Nazis. And with most of the gnomes being black, and the similarity in hand gestures, he just might be trying to depict the black militant group, the Nation of Islam. Think about it. There weren’t any black Nazis, now were there? But there are sure as hell black Nation of Islam members, as well as black Nation of Domination members, who of course used the same hand gesture. When I showed this article to Nation Minister of Talent Bruce McGee, we quickly decided that this must be what’s going on. It even explains the few gold ones mixed among the black: Savio Vega and Crush!
Wrestling aside, I’m not sure that this thing actually shows anything. And why garden gnomes, when you could just use midgets? It’d be funnier, they could move around and goose-step, and do other awesome things, and you wouldn’t have to actually make any materials. Midgets make anything (besides sex) better, and this would be no exception. So while this exhibit is kinda cool, I can’t really give it any credit beyond “lol Nazis”.
My feeling is that these “black nazi gnomes” are just trying to fit in with the gold nazi gnomes. They seem to be failing though, i dont know why but somethings setting them apart. Looks like that picture is about oh, 30 seconds from delivering 1200 servings of nigger soup.
